Product Update Mailing to Employer Groups
As you know, we are retiring some of our products effective December 31, 2013 in order to offer products that comply with federal health care reform.
In accordance with Department of Financial Services (DFS) regulations, groups will begin receiving letters that notify them of the upcoming retirement and recommend a replacement product that most closely matches the benefits of the retired product. The letter will contain rate information as well as 5 benefit out of pocket costs.
The mailing will begin 10/23/2013 and will end 10/31/2013. Groups will receive the member letters enclosed in their packets and it will be their responsibility to share the information with the members.

In addition, we are sending a letter to our employer groups informing them of the plan change and some of the useful features they will have access to.
