Enhanced Web Enrollment Features Launched
Excellus BlueCross BlueShield has made changes to our web enrollment features that will improve the customer experience for employer groups and their employees.
- New look for the Change Coverage, Dependent Add and Cancel Coverage features: These features now have a similar look to the "Enroll a New Member" feature and will improve the overall customer experience.
- New functionality for the Change Coverage, Dependent Add and Cancel Coverage features: Same sex spouse, submission of Other Insurance information at the member (dependent) level, and the three features' transactions will be viewable within the "View Recent Web Enrollment & Policy Updates" feature.
- Retro Policy update: Users will be able to enter an effective date as far back as the first of the previous month when using the Change Coverage, Dependent Add, and Cancel Coverage features.
On screen validation and messaging will help to prevent missing information and reduce the risk of keying errors. Editing from the summary page will make it easy to jump back and update a specific section. You will also have the ability to print a confirmation page that includes everything you entered in one step, plus the ability to save it as a PDF for easy record keeping.
There are additional features currently under consideration, such as Cancel Dependents.
