Timothy's Law Letter Mailing to Groups in Early November
Since January 1, 2007, the Timothy’s Law mandate has been in effect. As a result, mandated changes were made to coverage requirements for the diagnosis and treatment of mental, nervous and emotional disorders under most group health insurance policies in New York state.
Each year, we are required to provide small groups with information about the mandate and what they need to do if they wish to offer this optional benefit to their employees. To keep you informed, we are providing a copy of the communication (PDF) that will be mailed to our small groups.
