If your provider isn’t available, virtual care (also called telehealth or telemedicine) can help. Get fast access to care from the comfort of your home or wherever you are.

How virtual care works

Virtual care lets you connect with board-certified providers, licensed behavioral health specialists, health coaches, and nutritionists online from your phone, tablet, or computer. You can easily speak with a provider, get a diagnosis, receive a treatment plan, and even have prescriptions sent to your pharmacy.

You can pay for your visit with a credit card or through a Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

Your virtual care options

Depending on the plan you have, you may have access to a variety of virtual care options, including:

Need to see a doctor or specialist but cannot go in person? Many local providers offer virtual visits. Because they know your health history, they’re a great first stop when you’re not feeling well, whether it is your body or your mind. They can help with:

  • Ordering tests (like bloodwork or x-rays)
  • Referrals
  • Prescriptions
  • Follow-up care
  • Regular mental health appointments

Contact your provider directly to schedule a telehealth visit.

Use our Find a Doctor tool to locate a provider or confirm if yours offers virtual visits. Start by searching, then use the Filter and select “Telehealth” under “Virtual Care.”
