The Essential Plan offers the same essential benefits as other plans, but costs much less. It’s for individuals who make too much for Medicaid but not enough to afford a Qualified Health Plan.

There are five Essential Plan levels, all with the same benefits and features. Eligibility for each level is based on income, household size, and other criteria. The following table shows the income range eligibility for each household size and plan level.
